Thorne Stress B-Complex, 60 Capsules

All eight B vitamins plus choline in one capsule, in ready-to-use forms including methylfolate, methylcobalamin and P5P.

Description

What it is One capsule contains all eight B vitamins plus choline. That includes 50 mg thiamin, 28.6 mg riboflavin, 80 mg niacin, 28.4 mg vitamin B6, 200 mcg folate as methylfolate, 100 mcg B12 as methylcobalamin, 80 mcg biotin, 250 mg pantothenic acid and 14 mg choline. Several are in their already-active forms. “Stress” is the maker’s product name, not a claim I’m making. One bottle is 60 capsules.

A note on dose — please read The label allows up to three capsules a day. Each capsule has 28.4 mg of vitamin B6, and Australia’s upper level for adults is 50 mg a day. Long-term intakes above it have been linked to nerve problems (tingling or numbness). One capsule a day stays under that; two or three do not. If you already take another supplement containing B6, add the amounts together.

Worth knowing Check with your GP first if you take regular medicines, and if pregnant (maker’s warning).
